The Aim

Our Reverse Mentorship Programme is designed for corporate Senior Leadership Teams with the aim of encouraging better communication, awareness, and understanding of issues relating to race both inside and outside of the workplace.

How It Works

We pair up your company's chosen senior leaders (the mentees) with We Rise In delegates (the mentors). We then facilitate and deliver a nine-month programme consisting of both 1:1 and group sessions, where participants are encouraged to speak about matters relating to race inside and outside the workplace.

The Outcome

The mentees (the senior leaders) increase their awareness and understanding of the challenges ethnically underrepresented professionals face professionally, personally, and within society, and gain the confidence to positively challenge discrimination within the workplace.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY

Screenshot 2023-04-04 at 13.30.22.png
"The reverse mentorship programme has done many things to raise our awareness and knowledge of issues and challenges facing the black community (and other ethnic minority groups) generally, and specifically black professionals in property.

Examples would include the huge negative impact of a lack of role models, and the dangers of unconscious bias and 'quiet' prejudice in overlooking, or holding people back who, were it not for the colour of their skin or socio-economic background, would find many more doors open far more easily for them."
